Why Tablets Make a Better SAMe Product
As methyl donors, all products of this type are sensitive
to stomach acids. To be effective in the body, the ingredients must reach
the intestines intact. Capsules dissolve in the stomach, rendering the
ingredients of little value to the patient. Enteric coated tablets dissolve
after the stomach, bringing ingredients to the intestines for maximum
usefulness.
We use the Italian Disulphate Tosylate form of SAMe, known
to be among the most stable forms available.
